Hiya! I'm Metro (any pronouns), a furry artist from the southern U.S. and creator of this god awful site. I am very bad at explaining who I am, but I will try my best lol. Just like anyone else in the world, I'm trying to find where I belong. It is very hard, but im trying my best. :) The guy on the left side is me, well kinda. He is my fursona, Metronome. I love anything weird and scary! I enjoy clicking on scary videos at night just to scare myself shitless. Theres just something about horror that I find a comfort in. My favorite types of horror are body and phsychological. I can actually explain why I love those unlike liking to scare myself. I love learning about the brain and how it works and process information. I was always watching brain games as a kid and I guess I got hooked. That is probably like Phsycological horror. Now, for body horror is a bit of a sad but relatable to certain people. I have dysphoria and a strong hatred for my body and voice. So body horror speaks to me in that way.

Now after that long paragraph, I really enjoy art. I prefer digital, but I can work with traditional. I mostly make furry/oc art. Now as for music, I will pretty much vibe to most genres. My music taste always jumps. For example: Ill start with classic rock then move to 80's pop, then todays hits, then back to the Jazz era (1920s jazz or blues), then alternative, then tp the 60's, and it keeps going lol. The bands or artists I listen to the most are: Lemon Demon/Neil Cicierega, Ghost, Blue Oyster Cult, The Cramps, Twin Temples. The songs ive been enjoying the most recently are: Redesign Your Logo- Lemon Demon, Dancing in the Ruins- BOC, After Dark- BOC, Lust for a Vampr- I Monster, Sole Survivor- BOC.

Speaking about music, I collect Vinyl records, cassett tapes, and 8-tracks. I love a lot of old tech. Though I may not know a lot about them, its still something I love collecting. I am also trying to get my hands on a NES, Atari, Sony Walkman, and a bunch of other stuff. I also enjoy watching old movies. (I cant believe i didnt say this earlier when talking baout horror. My favorite horror movie is Scream. Such a goofy movie)

I dont really do much, but you can usually find me doing some form of art. I do bowling on the weekeds though! Im actually in a league and have been for my whole life. I also watch a lot of video essays so you'll probably find me watching those most of the time. I also play games (video or board) and now I guess coding a website to that list lol. I also go antique shopping from time to time.

I DO A LOT OF ART. Seriously, a lot. Basically everyday. This whole website is filled with my art. I have drawn mostly everything you see on here lol. Its just something that i find peace and joy in. Nothing feels better than finished an art piece that you worked so hard on and it turned out so amazing. What do I use for my digital art? I use a blue HP laptop I got a long time a go and a Huion Kamvas pro 13 I got second hand. As for software, I use Krita! I absolutly love krita and do recommend it. I have tried my hands on procreate also, but honestly I dont like it all that much (No hate to procreate users!)

Why? Well, I have a hatred for social media. I hate how eveyrthing looks the same. No creativity. I find modern design disgusting and bland. Growing up I heard about MySpace and creating you're own blog, but I never got to experience that which is saddening. :( I hate how addicting social media is. I hate how I spend hours watching stupid reels. I just wanted to find a way I could show off myself and have my own space just like Myspace. So I found Neocities when looking for SpaceHey. (I also have SpaceHey but im terrified to use it) I also like it when my interest are seprerated ive noticed. My first social media was Reddit (Yes I know Reddit bad whatever) and I fell in love with the idea of subreddits and that I could craft my own feed. When I got Instagram, I hated it and still hate it. I hate not being able to have control on what I see. So that is why im here. To let me have control and be able to be cringy and free lmao
